What exactly is a Fractional CFO?
A Fractional CFO is a senior finance director who works with your company on a part-time or project basis — providing the same strategic financial leadership as a full-time CFO, but without the cost or commitment of a permanent hire. You get the expertise when you need it, structured around your actual needs.
How is this different from my current accountant?
Your accountant ensures compliance — taxes filed, books kept, obligations met. A CFO provides strategic leadership — analysing performance, planning growth, securing funding and helping you make better decisions with your numbers. Most SMEs need both. We complement your current accountant at the strategic level.
What size of company do you typically work with?
We work with companies of all sizes — from newly registered freelancers to companies with €15M in revenue. For basic accounting services there is no minimum. For Fractional CFO, we're most effective with companies between €1M and €15M in annual revenue, where the financial complexity is real but hiring a full-time CFO at €150K/year is hard to justify.
How does the success-fee model for funding work?
For funding operations above €50,000, we combine a base project fee (from €1,500) with a success fee of 3–5% of the total amount secured. The exact percentage depends on the complexity and size of the deal. If we don't secure the funding, no success fee is charged. Each case is assessed individually — contact us to discuss your specific situation.
Do you work with companies outside Spain?
Yes. We work with international companies that have operations in Spain, or that are considering entering the Spanish market. We also support Spanish companies with international shareholders or cross-border funding needs. Our advisory is 100% remote, so location is not an obstacle.
What does the onboarding process look like?
After signing the agreement, we schedule a structured onboarding session to review your existing financial information, accounting setup and reporting needs. Within a week we have a clear picture of your situation and have started delivering. We work with your existing tools whenever possible.
